J. Patterson Reuter
Executive Chairman of the Board

J. Patterson “Pat” Reuter is the co-owner and Executive Chairman of Compass, Inc. Pat has over 42 years of experience in the geospatial intelligence domain. The first 20 years working directly for NGA and its predecessors before transitioning to private industry and starting Compass, Inc with his wife Lexa. He holds a BA in Geography from the University of Vermont and a Masters of Science in Civil Engineering (Geodesy and Photogrammetry) from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He was a member of the Defense Acquisition Corps, attended the Defense System Management College in 1995 and was DAWIA Certified Level 3 in Program Management and System Planning, Research, Development and Engineering. Pat manages the implementation of the corporation’s strategic plan as well as the daily operations. Lexa and Pat have two grown boys and when time permits, Pat can be found skiing, golfing, or fishing.

Lexa C. Reuter
Co-Owner, Director

Lexa C. Reuter is the co-owner of Compass, Inc. and sits on the Board of Directors. Lexa holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Massachusetts College of Art. She started Compass, Inc. in 2003 with her husband Pat with a vision to nurture and retain a diverse team of extremely talented, energetic, highly trained, and "customer dedicated" employees so that Compass can be the leading provider of Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA), Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS), and IT Service Management (ITSM) to our government and business partner customers. Lexa has served as President of the McLean Garden Club and Moderator of Presbyterian Women at Lewinsville Church. Lexa and Pat have two grown boys and she can be found gardening, arranging flowers, golfing, or skiing in her spare time.

Matthew R. Fahle
President

Matt Fahle joined Compass in 2017 as Vice President and was promoted to President in 2022. He has responsibility for the Strategic Growth and Daily Operations at Compass Inc. Matt has held leadership positions with a demonstrated history of Strategy Planning, Strategic Growth, New Market / Inorganic Expansion and Business Operations. Matt has over 25 years in the private sector providing services to the Federal Government. Prior to joining Compass Inc., Matt was a Managing Director at Accenture Federal Services. Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife, three children and dog.

Theron E. Anders
VP, Huntsville Operations

Theron Anders joined Compass, Inc. in January 2009, and has over 30 years of experience in the private sector and 8 years as a senior executive at NGA in government service. He has responsibility for the Huntsville office, and supporting overall corporate needs and requirements. During his service at NGA, Mr. Anders served as Director, NGA InnoVision Information Integration Office responsible for research and development programs, such as modeling and simulation, pattern and target recognition, and Director of the Customer Service Office with responsibility for the worldwide Operational Help Desk. Mr. Anders’ other assignments with NGA include positions as the GeoScout program manager, and Director of the Pre-Acquisition office. Mr. Anders also spent 18 years with Intergraph Corporation. As Vice President of the Mapping and GIS Solutions Office, he was responsible for an organization of software developers, engineers, cartographers, and photogrammetrists who produced, marketed, and maintained software and databases for military and commercial applications worldwide. Prior to that, Mr. Anders also worked for Kentron International, Inc., and was responsible for real time radar, telemetry, optical trackers and range safety software at Kwajalein Missile Range to help track, attack, and score ballistic missiles for what is now the Missile Defense Agency. Mr. Anders has an MBA and a BS degree in Mathematics from the University of Alabama. He served in the U.S. Army as a 1st Lieutenant in Artillery, and received the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service during Operation Bolling in Vietnam

Kevin L. Maull
VP Business Development

Kevin Maull provides strategy and direction to Compass business development as Vice President. Kevin has over 30 years’ experience in leadership positions, Program Management, Hardware/Software development and integration, e-Business, web development and delivery, and Operations and Software programming. Kevin has a BS in Management Information Systems (concentration in Computer Science) and has worked as software engineer, systems engineer, system architect, integration engineer, enterprise engineer, delivery manager, program/project manager, advanced programs director and business development director. He has served customers ranging from DoD, many three letter government agencies, and commercial enterprises with focus on Intelligence, Remote Sensing, Geospatial Ground Systems and geospatial solutions for NTM systems. Prior to Compass Kevin has worked for RCA services, GE Aerospace, Martin Marietta, Lockheed Martin, Unisys, the SI Organization and Vencore primarily in management roles for enterprise engineering efforts. Outside of work Kevin is a devoted family man, an avid sports fan, bikes, golfs, plays guitar, and tends to his home.

Judith M. Jones
VP Client Delivery Services

Judith Jones joined Compass, Inc. in November 2011, serving in leadership roles responsible for managing program execution; maintaining client satisfaction; building relationships with employees, business partners, and clients; supporting business development activities; and overseeing operations of Compass’ Huntsville, AL office. Today, she is serving as the Vice President for Client Delivery Services, responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of all awarded programs, as well as the organic growth within those efforts. These programs span both the Intelligence Community and Department of Defense, with a core focus in the functional areas of Advisory and Assistance Services, Systems Engineering and Integration, and Technical Subject Matter Expertise for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. Judith has 30+ years of experience developing solutions and delivering services within the Federal Government, primarily for the GEOINT community. Prior to Compass, Inc., she worked for 23 years at Intergraph Corporation and Intergraph Services Company, becoming an Executive Manager. Judith graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Auburn University. Outside of work, she is a wife, mother, friend, and a huge fan of the Auburn Tigers. Throughout her career, Judith has had the privilege of working with the most talented, mission-focused people who have been responsible for driving the successes.

Nancy E. Pitcock
Director, Human Relations and Security
(Facility Security Officer)

Nancy Pitcock joined Compass in October 2004 and is responsible for all aspects of human resources and security to include employee lifecycle and employee experience, and also serves as the company Facility Security Officer and Insider Threat Senior Official. Nancy strives to ensure our employees feel like family when they work for Compass, Inc. Nancy is responsible for talent, recruitment, and development of the Compass family, managing benefits and developing human resources and security procedures and practices. She also sees the mission of diversity and inclusion at Compass, Inc. as one of her key responsibilities and maintains the Affirmative Action Plan to ensure we meet or exceed industry standards. Prior to coming to Compass, Inc., she worked a short period for McClendon Corporation and almost 21 years in a variety of roles at Rubbermaid Commercial Products. Nancy received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Averett University in May 2003. Outside of work, Nancy enjoys spending time with her family and friends and helping to contribute to her church and their outreach programs. She and her husband are the proud parents of two grown children, and they enjoy spending time with them, their spouses and their grandchildren.

Rich Meuser
Director, Finance

Rich Meuser joined Compass in 2014 as the Finance Manager and has over 34 years working within the Federal Government contracting environment. Promoted to Director in 2022, Rich will be responsible for the financial operations of the company and provide support to program financial reporting. Rich holds a Business Administration degree with a concentration in Finance from Strayer University. Rich started out providing programming and system analyst support to numerous USACE systems. In the early 2000s, Rich made the switch from technical to corporate business support in both the program and corporate finance areas. Prior to joining Compass, Rich spent his time with McClendon Corporation/L1 Identity Solutions (1988-2012) and transitioned through an acquisition to BAE Systems (2012-2014). Outside of work Rich enjoys spending time with his wife and is the proud parent of two young men. Rich is an avid hockey fan in the winter and goes camping and fishing when the weather is warmer.

Misse Parzow
Director of Contracts and Compliance

Misse Parzow joined Compass in May 2007 as an administrative assistant. After a few years in that role helping with a little bit of everything in the office, she discovered her true passion for contracts. After growing with Compass for 15 years, she was promoted to her current position as the Director, Contracts and Compliance in June 2022. Misse oversees and completes the entire contract and subcontract process from cradle-to-grave. In addition, she oversees and maintains the company’s compliance with the three ISO certifications (9001, 20000-1, [&] 27001). Misse is a member of the National Contract Management Association (NCMA) and holds two coveted and active certifications through NCMA’s ANSI-Accredited certification programs. She is both a Certified Professional Contracts Manager™ (CPCM) since November 2013 and a Certified Federal Contracts Manager™ (CFCM) since December 2011. For several years, she was the Vice President of Education and Professional Development at her local chapter. Misse graduated in 2000 with a Bachelor of Music Education (Instrumental K-12) from Louisiana State University. Outside of work, Misse and her husband will find many excuses to visit their daughter at LSU (Geaux Tigers) and spend time playing with their Rottweilers (Boris and Lucifer).

Beth Strum
Director of Business Development

Beth Strum has over 26 years of experience as a Business Developer, Capture Manager, Proposal Manager, and Systems Engineer, advising and supporting contractors and government agencies on organizational policy development, decision making, and project management. As the Director of Business Development she is responsible for expanding and diversifying the business as well as pipeline expansion, strategy development, and increasing revenue in addition to planning, scheduling, and managing all aspects of competitive proposals, including inputs on capture, technical solutions, and cost preparation. Prior to joining Compass, Beth ran her own consulting business specializing in helping small businesses with business development and proposal management especially helping them understand their infrastructure needs as they grow from small to mid-size businesses. Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with her 2 kids and is an avid sports fan, especially when her kids are playing!
