Eric A. Kramer
Director, National Intelligence
Eric Kramer has spent the last 40 years supporting the government as an employee and as a contractor. He started his career with the government at the U.S. Geological Survey. While there he supported a joint program between the National Science Foundation, USGS and DMA as a resident scientist at the Geographic South Pole for a year. Since 1983, Eric has been supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and its predecessor organizations, the National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) and the Defense Mapping Agency (DMA) as a contractor. Eric held a variety of management and engineering positions in various NGA Directorates through his career with a primary focus on acquisition, development, and implementation of new GEOINT systems. He has done software maintenance, engineering, requirements management, Program Management, and acquisition management. He was Deputy Director of Engineering on the Enterprise Engineering Contract and supported the office of Special Programs for seven years. Eric has been the Director of Intelligence Programs at Compass for the last three years.
Eric holds a BS in Geography (Urban Concentration) from the Frostburg State University and a Masters of Engineering from Old Dominion University.
Eric resides in South Riding, VA with his wife and his dog Cosmo.
